Firstly I have to apologise that two products that I have listed, are ten pence over £5.00!
I couldn’t resist putting them in – and the website offers free worldwide delivery for both of the products – which helps! They are two of my very favourite products.
Conveniently until 24th October Superdrug are offering free UK delivery on all orders. They usually only post free of charge for orders over £30. This offer has come at a great time for this particular blog!
1) St Ives Apricot Invigorating Scrub £3.99
I tried this initially for a sponsored post. If you like a grainy exfoliator – this is as grainy as it can get. Their ’7 day challenge’ promises smoother, clearer skin within the week!
2) Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze £5.09
I tried this daily tanning moisturiser earlier this year for the first time, and I now will not be without it. Sinks in, smells great, and leaves a fabulous streak free tan. Free postage worldwide at the link below – so I don’t feel too guilty about listing a product £0.09 over budget!
3) Superdrug-Vitamin E SPF15 Radiance Moisture Cream £2.99
Adore this insanely well priced moisturiser. Pat over your skin later in the day to refresh make up, or use as a moisturiser, especially as it protects with SPF as well as brightens. Not ideal as a moisturiser for skins that are particularly dry – it is light. I carry mine in my handbag – emergency sun protection too. Free postage until 24th Oct for UK customers. Mix with foundation for a more natural make up look.
4) Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm ‘Tiger Lily’ £5.10
I put this under everything. ‘Tiger Lily’ is this peachy nude shade that I mention in the video, but ‘Pink Blossom’ is the natural pale pink that is probably their best selling tint (I am guessing)! Smells great, and feels lovely on the lips.
5) Rimmel Concealer Hide The Blemish
I have used this concealer for years. I use the shade Ivory. In my opinion it is as good as many concealers that carry far higher price tags.
6) E45 Silky Radiance Body Lotion £3.99
Lightly and extremely pleasantly fragranced. Made with sensitive skin in mind. E45 launched three new moisturisers – this being one of them – and I particularly like this one for its subtle glow.
7) M & S Limited Lip and Cheek ‘Magenta’ £5.00
These lip and cheek tints are part of Marks and Spencer’s Limited Collection – but they are not limited edition. They blend well, and the colours are subtle. I have all four shades but I particularly like Magenta – which is the colour that I show in the video – and the orange/coral too.
8) Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner ‘Eastend Snob’ £3.99
I love a twist lipliner – it saves half of it being sharpened away! Rimmel’s ‘Eastend Snob’ is a neutral pink – I have used it and loved it for years. I use it as a regular lipliner or I use with a lipbalm for added colour and definition. It is great for plumping the lips too and subtly changing the shape.

9) Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume 200ml £3.99
It took me a while to embrace Batiste’s dry shampoos! I now use them frequently – I carry a small one in my handbag too. I am a huge fan of Oribe’s Dry Texturising Spray which is £38.00 from Space NK – but it is ten times the price of Batiste’s XXL – so I now use both.
10) Palmers Skin Therapy Oil 60ml £4.99
Mix a few drops of this oil in with a body lotion for an added moisture boost, or apply directly to the skin for a glow.
11) Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly 100g £3.10
This shower jelly literally smells good enough to eat. Use with a sponge or cloth. Lush are very good at giving samples so ask them if you can try it if you are passing a Lush store.
12) Inecto Pure Coconut Leave In Conditioner 125ml £2.99
This is a leave-in conditioner that contains coconut oil, and protects hair from heat styling. It smells fantastic. I bought mine in ‘Bodycare’ but it is actually cheaper on amazon, and delivered for free!
13) Purity Organic Skincare Cleanser £4.99
Contains oats (nature’s anti bacterial cleanser), sweet almond oil, and aloe vera. Fragrance free and ideal for sensitive skin. I apply to dry skin and remove with a warm damp cloth or muslin.
14) Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish ‘Instyle Coral’ £3.69
A quick dry nail polish is extremely useful for me – I paint my nails frequently and never seem to give myself enough time for them to dry. This range has a huge selection of colours. I particularly like ‘Instyle Coral’ that my cousin gave to me last summer.
15) L’Oreal Elnett Hairspray Normal 200ml £3.79
This hairspray, I’m sure, needs little introduction. Everyone seems to use it, every make-up artist too. I am a huge fan of Victoria’s Secret Hairspray ‘So Sexy’ because of its scent, but it often isn’t available – I try to get it every time I am in the USA. Elnett is perfect for every day use – I have one of their hairsprays in every size.
16) Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads £3.99
I don’t use face wipes – I don’t think that they cleanse thoroughly enough. I do however, very much like these eye make up remover pads. Ideal for quick eye make up changes, or for after a skin cleanse when stubborn eye make up remains. Very handy, tiny packet – contains 30 wipes
My office today was the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, and this is me wearing a mask that I was gifted there this week! Thank you Mask-arade!
